PHEW! What a month November was! As we approach the festive season, the studio has been extremely busy and it seems your babies just keep getting cuter! Continue reading “Tiny Baby Studio Newcastle Newborn Photographer November 2016 Round Up”
I adore photographing newborn babies. Their newness makes my heart melt and I love everything about them from their un-coordinated movements to their little snuggly noises and the way they are all unique. I feel so lucky to meet so many of your babies and photograph their first weeks in a world they will soon come to learn all about.
This month has been lots of fun!! Christmas arrived early at Tiny Baby Studio but more about that in another post!
When you look at my galleries of newborn baby photos, you will see lots of relaxed and sleepy babies. But in reality, most babies have some time awake, and I like to make the most of this time!
Cake Smash photo shoots are a fantastic way of celebrating your baby’s first birthday. Not only do we have lots of fun but you get fantastic photos to cherish this milestone. One of the best parts of my job is getting to see babies grow and it’s extra special when my newborns return for their sitter portraits or for their first birthday. I am a member of BANPAS! As a newborn and baby photographer, I have to take the safety of my little clients very seriously. It might surprise you to know that the newborn photography industry is completely unregulated. Photographers like me, who take safety seriously, have to take it upon ourselves to be trained and educated on how to ensure the beautiful images we create, are done safely. Yesterday morning I stepped outside the front door and my first thought was “Autumn is here!”… it was probably something to do with the coolness of the air, or the dew on the grass or even the slight orange hue on the leaves on the trees. It’s my favourite time of year! I’ve even been known to style a newborn shoot in my favourite autumnal colours! Continue reading “Fun Family Halloween Activities”
Every year, in the quiet period between summer and winter wedding seasons, Karen and I try to get away for a week to relax and unwind and switch off. We always try to aim for September as this coincides nicely with our wedding anniversary. However, hidden somewhere in the need for us both to relax and unwind, is the deep desire to win our now famous photo competition! To get those snoozy, curly poses at a newborn shoot, your baby ideally needs to be under 14 days (although I am happy to book newborns right up to one month old) But what about if your baby is older? Don’t worry, you’ve not missed out!
Finding out you are expecting a baby is a very exciting time! You find yourself in a new world where your body starts to change and you begin to mould your life and surroundings to get them ready for the arrival of a new person. I asked some Yummy Mummies to suggest some products and services that they found really useful while they were pregnant. Continue reading “Expecting a Baby? Recommended Products and Resources.”
